Welcome to my portfolio page and thank you for your interest in my work. My name is Nina Strieder, I am 28 years old, I live in Recklinghausen, Germany and I am an independent digital / print media designer. Before that I had the opportunity to gain experience in 3 companies.

After I got my general university entrance qualification at Freiher-vom-Stein grammar school in Recklinghausen, Germany in spring 2013 I was able to gain my first experiences in design, marketing and communication during a one-year internship at TraDeers GmbH (formerly known as Tengelmann New Media GmbH). Following that I worked as a media designer at Panvision GmbH in Essen for 5 years, including my apprenticeship as a media designer for digital and print media.

During my internship at TraDeers GmbH, I worked mainly for online shops which enabled me to gain a lot of experience in the areas of advertising, newsletters and content management. With my apprenticeship in Essen, Germany I also created print media as well as illustration work and initiated my programming work with languages ​​such as HTML and CSS which to this day is my favourite and main focus.

Most recently I was employed at Sitesmedia in Recklinghausen, Germany, but had to leave this position after 2 months because I did not feel challenged as a media designer and, contrary to prior agreement, my area of ​​responsibility was more in the area of ​​customer reception and telephone service than in the graphic department the company.

Since I decided to go into self-employement I have finally been able to learn to work with CMS systems, work with customers on my own terms and to improve my previously acquired marketing and design skills.
